Delete your Find A Nikah account

Option 1: request deletion from the app

If you can sign in to the Find A Nikah app, use the account or privacy settings to locate the account-deletion option. Follow the confirmation steps shown in the app. If a confirmation or security check is required, complete it so we can protect your account from unauthorized deletion requests.

Option 2: request deletion from the web

If you no longer have the app, cannot sign in, or prefer to make the request outside the app, use the Find A Nikah contact page and state clearly that you are requesting account deletion. Include the email address, phone number or other account identifier you used to register so the account can be located. Do not send passwords or one-time verification codes.

What the deletion request covers

Once a valid deletion request is verified and completed, the Find A Nikah account and personal data associated with that account will be deleted or de-identified, subject to limited retention that may be necessary for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, legal obligations or enforcement of our agreements.

Information that may be affected

Depending on the features you have used, account deletion may cover profile information, photos, matching preferences, account identifiers, app activity and other personal information linked to the account. Some information may already have been shared with another user through conversations or screenshots and may not be removable from that other person's device.

Subscriptions and purchases

Deleting a Find A Nikah account does not automatically cancel an Apple App Store or Google Play subscription if one is active. Cancel any store-managed subscription through the relevant app-store account to prevent future renewals.

Verification and timing

We may need to verify that the requester controls the account before completing deletion. This helps prevent someone else from deleting your account. Requests are processed within a reasonable period, subject to applicable law and any legitimate retention requirements.

Can I recover a deleted account?

Account deletion is intended to be permanent. Once deletion has been completed, the account, matches and profile information may not be recoverable. If you return later, you may need to create a new account.
